During our recent Christmas retreat at Hotel Direndall, I was charmed by its intimate atmosphere and good hospitality. The hotel owner greeted us warmly and made our arrival a breeze, leaving the key for our room ready and waiting—a lovely touch for weary travelers. While the breakfast was quite satisfactory, it was the surrounding area that captured my heart; being just a stone's throw from Luxembourg City, we enjoyed leisurely excursions to sample the local cafés and bars. After a day of exploring the amazing Valley of the Seven Castles, returning to our simple yet comfortable room, complete with its well-equipped private bathroom, felt like a true luxury. With easy parking and free WiFi throughout the hotel, Hotel Direndall offered the ideal base for our little adventure. A family-run hotel, it invites relaxation and enjoyment, perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway infused with local charm. I'm already daydreaming of my next visit!
